My name is Gernot Stefl, in February I finished my studies 'Information Design'
at the University of Applied Sciences in Graz, Austria.
I have been secondary school teacher for one year (subjects English, history and computer
science); but I was always interested in photography, video and (3D-)graphics, and took the
opportunity to study what will soon turn my hobbies into my job.
My works focus on emotional descriptions and human interactions, and I'm very intent on
telling meaningful stories.
I like - besides photography and motion pictures of course - to create and listening
to good music, visit foreign countries and cultures, and try to be sporty by playing
squash and go jogging and climbing infrequently.
In addition to my studies, I worked as an editor for Rolling Pin and as tutor at the
University of Applied Sciences. Now I support DJs with visuals as 'Gvolution', and do
some freelance photography every now and then.
I did an internship at Red Design, Brighton, UK in spring 2009, and at the moment
I'm working full time as an editor at Mema TV, Graz.
